Access to the harbour is possible approximately 2.5 hours either side of high water. Temporary berthing is available on the east and north harbour walls for visiting boats.

The cruise liner pontoons are owned and operated by Forth Ports and are used for tenders landing passengers from visiting cruise ships.

Visitors’ berths are available for overnight stays on the club pontoons. These are ‘drying’ berths on soft mud and are only suitable for ‘bilge’ or long-keel’ craft. Please contact us to enquire about availability.

Unfortunately, at present there are no toilet, fresh water, electricity, or fuel facilities available for visiting boats ( We are hoping to provide these in the future ).

There are many bars and restaurants around the harbour and in the nearby area.

Our harbourmaster can be contacted on 07494 021 614, should you have any questions prior to or during your visit.
